Kit Distribution Day
D-Day:
Today was the day were we collected all of our kit and everything extra things that we ordered all the way back after the Bexton Lane camp. This included our new uniform and our bags. We payed of a sleeping bag and a roll mat that were compact enough to go into our bag because we're not allowed to take anything that doesn't fit into either our day sack or our big bag. I also got a groove towel thats really compact and dries really really quickly. I saw my mates Lisa, Spartacus and Stanley there.
I had to get a bigger shirt because my one was too small. My trousers were really long in the leg though. I was missing my fleece but the people the leaders ordered them from only sent about a quater of the batch. I was also missing three woggles. (For those of you that dont know a woggle is what holds our neckerchiefs together). I got a calander counting down the day till the Jamboree from 100. Frightening to think how close it acctually is now. theres only like one more meetong and the next time i see my whole contingent will be on the coach to the Jamboree. Very scary thought.
Next time i see evreyone will be at Totally Wild which will be at a zoo then we have a concert after the meeting. Hopefully at Totally wild we will not only get out sleeping bag and roll mat Admirals will get their branded gear including the long awaited Kent Admiral Boxers! Woo! I cant wait to see them.
